When it comes to achieving your goals, the game is just as much a mental one as it is a physical one.

1. Visualize and connect to your end goal
Mental imagery—the kind that involves imagining success—has long been employed by professional athletes to boost their strength, confidence, and results. Practising visualisation and creating a deep emotional connection with your end goal will increase your motivation, especially during those times you feel like giving up!
Change the way you look at things so the things you look at change.

2. Write down what you want
Sit down and write out exactly what you want your end goal to be. The reasoning behind this is simple. Your unconscious mind does not know the difference behind dreams and realities. So, the faster that you can convince your subconscious that the desired result has already manifested, the faster it will show up in your reality. Bonus points for sharing your SMART Goals (see page 26 of the eBook) with other participants on the Facebook Group.

3. Consistency is key
Remember, you get what you do consistently, not occasionally so create a routine that’s actually maintainable. Life inevitably happens and there will always be something that distracts you – a busy work schedule, a friend’s wedding, a long lunch with the girls. Just remember that if you fall off the bandwagon it’s okay, just remember to get straight back on! Set daily and weekly intentions to keep yourself accountable. A step as small as checking in 8WT Facebook group is considered a daily action towards your goals.
